First day of school

Hey guys! It was the, for some people, dreaded first day of school today. I've actually been looking forward to this day for ages, at the risk of sounding like a nerd haha but oh school, how I have missed your routine and seeing friends everyday and eating breakfast at the normal time and getting to have study periods this year instead of sport! Woo!

Shoutout to KT, who has been in HK for the past SIX WEEKS! So glad you're back :)

Today the lovely BT baked us cookies and wrote us all letters for the first day of school :) thanks B!

I think the key to enjoying school is to change your mind frame about your subjects and even tutoring. I used to always say I hated math back in junior school and that was bad because the more I said it the more I dreaded it, but over the past year I have been learning to appreciate and even like Maths, which means I now look forward to all my subjects! Well almost all the time. Still working on it though, but I try to limit saying things like 'I have chem next :(' or 'double Maths on monday mornings suck'. It really does help your attitude :)

Last night my mum gave me a red pocket to put in my skirt pocket at school for luck :) to keep the luck I now pledge to not open it until year 12 is officially over :)

I've also developed a little sprain in my right hand wrist because I've spent the whole last weekend non stop sewing for RH's and my muck up outfits. Totally worth it though :) so proud of them hehe. After muck up on Friday I will have a DIY tutorial on them showing you guys how I made them :D

My sister, after spendning the last 3 days at O Week, some uni camp, has now left for a week at Lake Somewhere with 6 of her pals. I hope she stays safe! Also my Dad is currently in Perth for the week for a business trip so it's just my mum and I this week :D

Prefect Video and a Chance Encounter

Hello! Today was a rainy day but our filming went ahead-we even did a co-ordinated dance in the rain! Woo so proud of Prefects '12, we make a great team and today was great fun :) Still got all those songs stuck in my head. Can't wait to spend 2012 with you all!

As fellow blogger HappyApple said, there's a surprise waiting at school. Actually it's not a surprise any more cos DD put up a pic on facebook earlier this morning, if you haven't seen it yet here it is...

Yup the school's purple. I kept changing my mind throughout the day about my opinion about it (and cos we were at school from 9-4ish I had a lot of opportunity to see it and think about it). Currently, I think it's nice. This is subject to change and I may decide randomly again later that it looks horrible and clashes with the green (which it kinda does)

I'll leave you guys to formulate your own opinions about it when school resumes on Monday. I think we'll all grow to like it rather. It's kinda endearing.

Ooh we also saw the new Year 12 study room today!! It's nice (kinda looks like the exam centre but much smaller ofc) and has a freezer, fridge, microwave, the works :D When we all saw the freezer we were like OMG ICE-CREAM IN SUMMER!! Haha not like it's been that hot lately for copious amounts of iced goods but still.

Ooh we were also the first people eevr to use the microwave! We used it to reheat a double cheeseburger :D VB, who can drive, drove to Maccas and got us all lunch (20 double cheeseburgers, a couple happymeals etc) and we were all sick of cheeseburgers after. HH ate 3 of them. We had to try and force people to take them home.

After all that filming a couple of us went to towers, some (like BL and VS to buy their muck-up stuff, others like GZ to study) and I went cos I was meeting my mum there :) She bought me some clothes:

-some high-waisted blue shorts with a belt
-some khaki skinny pants with gold zippers (lol khaki will forever remind me of AM)

Anyway as I was walking in Castle Mall with my mum, I had a CHANCE ENCOUNTER:

Random Woman looks excited and starts waving at me (will call her RW)
RW: Hi!!
Me: *waves back to be polite* Hi?
RW: Do you remember me?
Me: Sorry I don't think I do
RW: One time last year it was raining and we were standing at the traffic lights about to cross the street to the bus station and you shielded me with your umbrella!
Me: OH!!!

I remembered everything after that :) We were both at the traffic lights outside Castle Mall about to walk to the Bus Shelter place and it was raining pretty hard and I had an umbrella and she didn't so I moved closer and shielded her from the rain and when we got to bus shelter whilst waiting for our bus we had a lovely conversation together :)

Fancy her remembering!! I mean that happened over 2 months ago! I didn't even recognise her~

Me and the woman then had a lovely conversation about the wet weather Sydney has been having, then we had to depart. Such a lovely coincidence though, if I ever see her again I will ask for her name. Just goes to show how, although you may deem actions you have done as hardly significant or easily forgotten, they may have a greater impact on others than you think :D

I was so smiley and happy after that encounter. I encourage you all to talk to strangers more! I find that public transport/public transport waiting places eg stops and staions are ideal to strike up conversations. Stop thinking about the hustle or bustle of your life, put that phone/ipod/earphones away and get conversating (probably a made-up word lol)! Who knows maybe one day you'll meet them again randomly, and hey if you guys even become close friends you have a killer how-we-met story :P

Love: Michelle

P.S. Also after talking to RW, I remembered that I left my umbrella at school. Hoping it's still there on Monday! ><

Happy Australia Day!

Happy Australia Day readers! Shame about the rainy weather (although outside looking more and more sunny now compared to the deluge yesterday and this morning) or else I would have walked my dog down to the park and maybe had a bbq :D

Yesterday I met up with VS, who has been in India for the past 5 WEEKS! Such a long holiday! So glad we could meeet and chat, I've missed her hehe :)

I thought I was running late (and we agreed to meet at 10) and I was at the bus stop at 9:50am and texted her to tell her I might be a little late-ish then LOL she called me and started rambling and I couldn't tell what she was saying and I finally was able to decepher that my text had woken her up and she'd slept through her alarm. Poor girl, I don't blame her she's still all tired from her holiday :)

I had a peek around the Camera Shop in Towers to see what they sold and walked around for a bit looking for hair pins :) Recently I've also been liking hair pins and clasps. My sister bought me some the other day when she went thrift shopping :D

Anyway VS and I decided to brunch at The Great Bagel and Coffee Company :) The bagels are great but I didn't try the coffee so I can't confirm that one haha

They give you really big knives to cut your bagels witha nd no forks. We also got curly fries with morrocan salt :) SO YUMMY reminds me of that time BT :D

The bagels were pretty small-ish but really filling and we could hardly finish the cakes I had brought with me for dessert. OH YEAH forgot to say 2 days ago one of family friend's came over for dinner and brought with him a whole box and really nice cakes :D

This one was my favourite:
Still haven't eaten this one yet, I brought it yesterday for someone at the library but since it was raining they couldn't make it ><

Okay I was telling KB about this on facebook but funny story- it was raining SO HARD

Okay photo does not do justice to deluge outside; our shoes were soaked and when cars esp TRUCKS drove past we got sprayed with water all over lol

So anyway me and VS decided to walk down to the library and we only had one umbrella (mine) then we got there and we were soaked and tried to dry off in the bathroom

Trying to dry our shoes....

Then we decided to sit on one of those couches and read a girflfriend mag whilst waiting for the rain to subside (it didn't) and there was this RealGirl story about being addicted to eating soap and I was like to VS "Hey remember in year 5 camp I ate some handwash?" [truestory] and she was like WHAT EWWWWW no wonder I thought you were weird in Year 5!!! Me: "You thought I was weird? :( " VS: YOU ATE HANDWASH who wouldn't?????

HAHA to clarify it's cos it smelled like fruit and also okay I was pretty weird LOL but hey it was one time! Haha now I sound like that girl from Mean Girls and someone will put a pic of me in the burn book and be like "Michelle ate handwash" and distribute photocopies of it in corridors and I'll pick it up and be like "Hey that was like one time!!!"

Lol if anyone gets what scene I'm talking about HI-5! It's the 'Made out with a hot dog' one btw haha

Anyway VS had to go and catch her bus and since she didn't have an umbrella I decided to walk her to the bus stop but before we left the library she was like Where's my wallet?? Then I realised Where's my umbrella???

So we tried looking in various places and even asked the guy at the front desk but he said he couldn't find them then I went back to the place we first looked and heypresto they were there HAHA so we walked off to towers. Only when we got to towers did we realise...WE FORGOT TO BORROW OUR BOOKS!! (I had reccommended VS some ItGirl books haha)

So we decided to trek BACK to the library (keep in mind it's still POURING OUT THERE throughout all this) and went to borrow our books. The self-borrow place then told VS she had an unpaid fine on her library card so we went BACK to the counter with the counter guy that definitely knew us by now HAHA and paid the fine, then borrowed the books.

THEN we walked back to towers and went to Coles to buy Peppermint Tea :D After that we walked to the bus stop, waited together for her bus THEN I walked back to the library. Phew! That's a lot of trips to and from haha and I got soakeddddd so I had to go back to the bathroom and use the hairdryer (it didn't work). The library too is FREEZING with the air-con on full blast and I was only wearing a strapless dressa nd a denim jacket so I was soo cold haha and I told my mum to bring stockings and new non-wet shoes when she came to pick me up.

Love: Michelle

P.S. Can't wait to film the Prefect Vid tomorrow!! Hoping it doesn't rain! SS, RC and VB are ah-mazing (they recorded the audio part yesterday) :D Also, I should get started on sewing me and RH's muck-up costumes ><

Chinese New Year and that back to school season

Hey guys! Hope you all had a prosperous and wonderful Chinese New Year!! On Sunday night I went out for dinner with my family, my cousins family, my family friend Issie's family and her cousin's family. Phew that's a lot of people!

We went to the restaurant in Parramatta, Prince and it was crowded! We had lobster and fish and so much nice food :)

                                                         Such nice lobster!!!!!!

We all got red pockets to tie onto red strings into holes in the ceilings so when the dragons came around they would come by our tables and 'eat' the red pockets :)

When the dragons came around everyone got so excited in the restaurant and there were cameras everywhere and people standing on chairs etc and the noise from the drums and cymbals following the dragons were deafening! It was such an exciting atmosphere! :D

                                                           Blurry pic of the dragons
I remember one time when I was younger maybe 2or 3 years ago I went out to Yum Cha for Chinese New Year that year and when the dragon came around it came towards me and then the guys inside the dragon costume leaned over me do I was inside the costume and I saw one of them grab my tea and drink it LOL. He must have been really thirsty. My mum was really excited cos she said that meant extra good luck :) touching the dragons tail is also considered good luck so everyone in the restaurant was touching the dragons tail :D

ALSO this was sooo exciting!! The restaurant had this prize giveaway and they were randomly pulling out numbers out of a hat and the table that had that number got a prize eg if you were sitting on table 22 and they called out 22 you got a prize. I was talking to my sister like omg wouldnt it be cool if we won a prize??? And then they were calling out the last number and the host was like the last number is forty..... FIVE and WE WERE TABLE NUMBER 45!!!!!

He was calling out the numbers in mandarin and I can't understand mandarin so at first I didn't know what he said then everyone at my table started screaming and I was like WE WON??????? OMG WE WON!!! And we started jumping up and down and my sister started laughing cos apparently I was so happy there were tears in my eyes LOL.

The prize was a red empty suitcase and my aunt got to keep it :) haha our whole table was just going crazy and the tables next to us we're like....haha they were were probably jealous hehe :3

Okay but after a while I was less excited cos we realized they rigged the prize giving ROFL so we're not actually particularly lucky, it's cos we're really good friends with the manager and we had given him a red pocket before we started eating and after we won he came around to our table and took photos with us and gave us all conspiratorial winks like ;) and he kept saying stuff like 'My favorite customers' and when he was saying 'Forty....' I realised all our parents has been shouting FIVE!!! And putting up five fingers like they were giving high fives and we were right in his line of sight ROFL so yeah not luck just connections. Like the triads LOL.

Oh well still exciting stuff :)

On actual Chinese new year I went out with my family to eat and it was nice family time :)

How did you guys spend yours? Also I have been wanting to write this post since 2 days ago but as you can see there are no pictures today in my post which is unusual for me and this is cos my computer hasn't been working for a while so I'm writing this only my iPad at the moment. I'll probably add in cool pics later :)

Also my SCUMBAG POOL! Lol it was soooo dirty and green on Friday when friends came over and 3 days later on Monday it turned completely blue and clear. It looks sooo clean and nice :) pool party before school starts? Lol.

Comparison: THEN

P.S. Recently I've been getting into Polaroid cameras. I've always really liked them so I've tried doing so research online about how they work, cost, film etc but I'm quite noobish at it so I called on my pal JJ, the most informed and best photographer I know, for some advice. I await his knowledge, and any you readers might have :D I'd quite like to have one for 2012 and the last 3 terms of HIGH SCHOOL LIFE! :) starting off with a new camera would be lovely to capture those memories :')

EDIT: Hallelujah my computer is working again!! Pics are up now to accompany blog posts :) Personally I love the addition of photographs to posts, it adds a break to the text and adds atmosphere :D

Haus Party and Chinese New Years Eve

Hello guys! Happy Chinese New Years Eve!

As if customary with my family every year, we had a MASSIVE spring clean today.

I was in charge of cleaning the downstairs tiled floor :) Whilst usually that involves mopping the floor maybe twice, since today was such a special day it involved MOAR EFFORT!

This is the method:
1. Mop the whole floor
2. Using tile cleaner powder put some powder on each tile and scrub each one with one of those hand-held scrubbing brushes until it shines
3. Mop the floor again
4. Using a rag (my old pyjamas lol that my mum cut into a rag) shine each tile

Phew! Took me almost 2 hours and halfway through my mum was mopping the stairs then she said she'd help me and then knocked the bucket of dirty water over the tiles I'd just scrubbed. *Cry* Had to redo those lol.

But SERIOUSLY after all that effort the floor SHINED! I swear you could see reflections of everything in it and light dancing-it was just like those cartoon moments when they clean the house and it looks like this:

HAHA Pride-over-9000 :P This is me:

ROFL DOMESTIC DIVA! HAHA jks as if I look so chic when I clean. I was in my pjs LOL crouching on the floor for like an hour just scrubbing and I forgot to tie my hair up and since I was wearing gloves I didn't want to touch my hair so I kept trying to flick it off my neck and face by doing some weird I-whip-my-hair-esque thing.

Since I've been cleaning so much I've compiled a list to aid anyone else on a Intensive Cleaning Session:

Michelle's Top Tips on How to Make Cleaning Fun
-Listen to music. I like to put my iPad on a table and listen that way :D
-Pretend you're Cinderella. I did this ALL THE TIME when I was younger and cleaning the house. In fact I did it even when I wasn't cleaning LOL.
-Think of it as training. Okay if AM is reading this she will be most upset with this tip but it helps me when I'm cleaning; I think since I'm going to married someday (hopefully ROFL or maybe /foreveralonewithcats) I'll be cleaning a lot so it's good preparation for future times, no?

Yesterday, GZ, AM and RC visited my humble abode :) I have this 7 piece fondue set

I got it for Christmas 2 years ago and I've only used it once so I dug it out of my closet and we had fondue :D

After a while the fondue got really sweet so GZ and RC (who doesn't like chocolate or cream so the fondue was kinda a not his type kinda thing lol) had roasted marshmallows

Looks like a comet or something
                                                              This one's on fire

Moments of the day:

-When AM got to my house and saw Chloe (RC brought her dog) in my backyard (remember Chloe?)
                                                                    Dis dawg

and thought Chloe was Biscuit (she really hasn't been to my house in a long time...) LOL

                                                                       Dis be Biscuit

AM: OMGGGGGG IS THAT BISCUIT?????????? SHE'S SO BIG!!!!!!!!!!!!

(haha)

-Dis game

RC is sooooo good at this game.

-"I guess you can kinda see the resemblance." "Is it my glasses?" ROFL

Also funny story, I was making jelly cups on Thursday (3 layers with different flavours: blueberry, grape and mango) for my guests yesterday and on the counter my sister had opened a packet of those all natural dinosaurs and I decided to be creative and put a dinosaur in each jelly cup.
I was so proud of myself when my sister came home from a party she was at I told her what I had done and she was like "What???? Why? They're really absorbent and they'll taste really soggy and bad!!"
Turns out how she knew this was cause sometimes at parties and stuff her friends soak gummy lollies like dinosaurs and gummy bears in alcohol overnight and since it's so absorbent it soaks up all the alcohol and when they eat the lolly the next day it's like a shot or something ROFL the stuff I learn from my sister.

Another thing I learnt was that (my sis was talking with her friends that had driven themselves over) this other guy was really drunk and saw this bottle on a table and thought it was alcohol and drank it. Turns out it was table cleaner. He promptly spewed everywhere apparently. HAHA oh man these uni kids.

Love: Michelle

Hope you guys have a safe and happy Chinese New Year!

P.S. Today I went to Parra to buy stuff for muck-up photo day. These are the items I bought: 2 blue shirts, yellow material. If you can guess what I'm going as from this WOW I would be impressed but for those people that already know shhhhh keep it a secret until the actual day of muckup haha (I bet heaps of people would already know by then lol but I want to have the pleasure of people trying to guess what I am before I tell them :D )

Technology Ban and Intensive Cleaning

Hi everyone! I feel as though it's been a while since I blogged even though in reality it's only been 5 days. It's probably cos on Saturday I had this realisation that I hadn't done much work since the holidays started so I put myself on a TECHNOLOGY BAN until I completed the things on a LIST I wrote :) Complete with little square check boxes.

Yeah I've only done about 75% of that list and here I am on the computer. A good reason though: On Tuesday night I realised I had to release my ban cos on Wednesday nights the prefects go to a soup kitchen in Parramatta and it had stopped a bit for the holidays and started again today so I had to reactivate my facebook and write on the Prefects group wall reminding everyone that soup kitchen was starting again in case everyone else forgot lol.

Also we've been getting a new fence to replace the old one and that's been taking 3 days.

Our new fence in progress:

Yuz my pool is very green btw

So we've had to wake up at about 7 every morning cos the builders get here about then. Poor Biscuit has been tied to a pole (we extended her leash with a skipping rope lol so she can still reach her bed, food bowl, water, and favourite toy Snoopy) for about 2 days now cos if we let her go she could easily run out onto the street because lack of proper complete fencing=easy gateway to the road outside. At first we put Biscuit in the laundry room but she hated not being outside and chewed up so many things in that room LOL so we tethered her outside. The neighbour that we are getting the fence done with also has no fence and they have 2 dogs and we can see that they also tied up their dogs and all 3 dogs can see each other clearly without the normal fencing and they bark and whine together haha

Poor Biscuit is tied up :(
Our street is also doing that council cleanup thing so we've been throwing away lots of old stuff like our old bikes (I never used them anyway lol) and guess what I found??? MY OLD SCOOTER!!!

It won't stand up so it's just lying down and also it's kinda dusty and gross to touch lol

It's so awesome I will give it a wipedown from the dust and go scootering down my driveway like old times :')

Anyway hope you guys have been having a productive week. I'm off to do more cleaning cos some peeps are coming over on Friday :D

DIY: Revamp an Old Plain Button-Down Shirt :)

Hello everyone! Today's blog entry is a Do-It-Yourself sewing project I did the other day that I'd like to share :)

Do you have a shirt like this and the sleeves are too short or you think it's too boring?

Well it's a perfect base that you can be creative with!

I snooped around my mum's studio downstairs (she is a wedding dress maker) and window shopped in Westfield to brainstorm a cool design :)

The first thing I did was cut off the sleeves (it helps if you have sharp sewing scissors-my mum has these really good ones that make cutting through fabric really easy :D )

I kept the cuffs

I figured I could revamp them too and make them into cool fabric bracelets :)

At first I was going to do a design like this:
With a blue zipper but then in my mum's studio I found these:

A box of lots of buttons and

This fake leathery material that looks scaly :)

Anyway so I decided to do a different design so it's okay to change designs and brainstorm new ideas at any time-in fact it's fun to ! :D

I deicded to make a pocket out of the black pleather material so I cut out a template for a pocket. I used a post-it note for the rough shape and size.

I pinned it onto black material and cut out the shape.

Because my mum sews wedding dresses, she had threaded the machine adn he bobbin with white so I had to change it to black so any mistakes in the stitching wouldn't show up that clearly.

To eliminate messy frayed ends, I sewed around the edges of the black pocket like this.

This is the outside of the pocket
Take in note that beacuse you are sewing down the edges the pocket will turn out smaller than the template you have cut out. A comparison:
Okay so now I placed the pocket around where I wanted it on the shirt and pinned it down
Then I sewed the pocket down. Be careful that you don't button the shirt and sew or else you might sew through both layers of the shirt.

Sew it down but remember to not sew the top so you can use it as a pocket!

The inside should be something like this:
Okay so now I finished with the pocket I went ahead and found some pretty gold buttons to replace the boring white ones on the shirt.
To sew the buttons (if you guys don't already know how) it's really easy :) Thread a piece of thread through the eye of a needle (I chose white so the threads would blend into the shirt well), pull thorugh until the ends meet and tie the strings together at the end into a knot.

Cut off the white button, then push the needle through the underside of the fabric where the button was and the knot will then hold the string to the fabric, push the button onto the needle and then go through the hole in the button down through the shirt and back up again several times until the button is secure and won't move.

NB: Be careful to, when replacing buttons, choose buttons that are of similar size to the original buttons or otherwise the shirt won't be able to button up because the buttonhole might be too small/too big.

Continue the process of replacing the original buttons with ones you have picked out.
Ooh you might have noticed the very top button is different to the others :)
That's always been one of my favourite buttons in my mum's button box :D It's so classic and pretty and I decided to make the top one different from the rest so my shirt would stand out more and have a little bit of 'me' in it HAHA so I kinda wanted to personalize my DIY project :)

ANYWAY TA-DA we are done!! Now you have a cool new shirt you made all by yourself! It took me around 2-3 hours (most of the time was spent changing all the thread on the machine to black and when the machine for some reason failed and I was like ARGH cos I had to unpick the whole pocket and turns out the bobbin thread got stuck somewhere etc)

Hope I inspired some of you! Here is a pic of me wearing it btw with my new pink pleated skirt my sister bought for me :)
Hmm my next project will be to sew something for Muck Up day....if I ever decide what I'm going to be lol. I decide on one thing then keep changing my mind.

Love: Michelle

P.S. When I was downstairs sewing it was around 9pm and I heard this whining by the window and guess whose face I saw at the window?

An Unpleasant Encounter (and a Lesson learnt)

Today (Well actually YESTERDAY now haha since it's 12:01am) I saw a woman and we had an unpleasant encounter.

She had a whitte dog in a pram and was towing the pram along, had a bag around her hips and was holding a money collecting tin. By her physical state, it was apparent that she was attempting to beg for money.

She came up to a crowd I was standing in, and everybody in that crowd walked away awkwardly as she was starting to talk about desperately needing a motel to stay in tonight. As I reached for my wallet, she smiled at me and I made small talk, asking her what her dog's name was. She said it was Misty.

This is where the encounter becomes unpleasant.

I give her most of my coins (including gold ones) but she spies a $20 note I had inside my wallet, which I needed for today (well yesterday). She looks down at the coins I gave her, puts them into the bulging hip-bag and thus rendering the collecting tin pitifully empty again, and her attitude turns sour.

Rather than the kind smile and grateful eyes she had for me, instead she snarls and insists I give her the note, whilst I stand there not knowing what to do. Expletives and uncouth language begins to spew out her mouth at me and she gets louder and louder, which undermines me and makes me feel guilty and selfish.

What do I do?

I stand there and take it. I don't even know why I didn't walk away or try talk back but she made me feel so horrible and selfish and the constant 'f-word' droppage is uncomfortable and just plain MEAN.

I don't know what I was supposed to do in this situation. Eventually she marches away (snarling more swear words about me under her breath) when it becomes apparent that her guilt trip attempt has me frozen and I won't hand over the note, although I did consider giving it I would only be able to return home and eat lunch that day if I, say, asked her for $10 change from a $20 which she wouldn't give me and I knew she would just get away with my $20.

And what I did after?

I don't think I handled it in the best way by walking dejected to the bathroom and bursting into tears, but that's what I did.

That was my unpleasant encounter, and I'm still contemplating how I feel about it. I don't feel any resentment or anger towards the woman, (although I did at first), nor am I any longer afraid of her but I do feel pity for her. How much of what she screamed at me was true, about her living on the streets and desperately needing a motel? What if I was in that situation (if it was true)? Wouldn't I want all the help I could get? Was I being selfish, seeing as I'm here typing this on a computer and she possibly doesn't know where her next meal is? Can I justify these things she shouted at me that I can't help, such as having a family and a house? Was I supposed to apologize for the wrongs the world has given her?

In the end though, if we consider perspective, our life on Earth isn't eternal. What we have here is just a foreward to the main event: Afterlife. That's why I think, even if in this life I end up with a far more wretched life than the one the woman seems to be having at the moment (possibly), we must remember everything happens for a reason, if I end up along that path so be it, and that GOD is always there for us whenever and wherever. So I pray that that woman, however at first unpleasant that encounter was, is better now or at least has calmed down, and that if screaming abuse at me in public helped her, then so be it.

I guess I can even see it as a blessing because I got to appreciate all that I already do have in life :)

Love: Michelle

I know today's blog entry was a little different to normal, so here are a few pictures of things I was planning to make this blog about before I had that encounter.

I got my glasses fixed (rememeber the ones Biscuit chewed and broke?)

My mum bought me a WHOLE BOX of Mi goreng. WHAT A TREAT!!!!! :D

My sister and I spent two hours finally taking down all the Christmas decorations :)

The Adventures of Superdawg and Revisiting Childhood

So I took my dog Biscuit out for a walk on Saturday to CL's house in the street behind mine (on account of the fact that CL is on a holiday with her family and we wanted to break in and rob her haha JOKES we have been feeding her dog Sugar for her) :D

Standing at CL's front door for about 10 minutes trying to work out which key will open the several locks and Biscuit getting impatient, trying to explore the front lawn lol

Biscuit: "Why are you guys taking so long?????"

Anyway we heard Sugar barking and when we finally got inside Biscuit ran straight to the clear door where Sugar was :)

And we thought they were going to get along just fine. But then...
That's Sugar in the background too scared to socialise.
Poor Sugar is hiding

But then after a while she got over her fear and they made friends! See how cute :3

Haha maybe now they can go on dog walking parties to dog parks or something :))))) Haha and Sugar and Biscuit: See even their names go together :) They can be BFFLS now lol

Also another thing: Sugar has this awesome living space
She has this awesome cushion shaped like a bed and 2 KENNELS! One on top of the other!!! It's like a double storey house for dogs!!!!!! :O

Lately I have had this urge to dig out this old thing:
Yup the trusty old PLAYSTATION 1 :)

I remember the first game I had on PS1 was some 101 Dalmations game my dad bought me.

And my sister and I played this game for like 2 hours +
Seriously who else played Crash Team Racing growing up? BEST. GAME. EVER. Mario-kart will NEVER compare LOL

I also read these two books yesterday
ENID BLYTON: MY HERO GROWING UP!!!!! :)

HAHA I have so many Babysitter's Little Sister books....I bet anybody who has read these book knows that one chapter that repeats itself in every book. Yes, you know what I'm talkin about...'I'm Karen Two-Two my two families blahblah Little House Big House Now I'm going to name all my pets like Crystal Light the Second etcetc'

Anyway that was my brief blast to the past :) I hope you guys are having fun wherever and whatever you're doing! I've been spending today writing out Legal Studies notes :) Very proud of myself because I managed to somehow turn my Legal Studies textbook into an iBook on my iPad (which is a feat for me because I'm very bad with technology...)

WIN! Now whenever I go to the library to study I don't have to lug around heavy textbooks I can just bring my iPad :)
